Friends of Cumberland Gap National Historical Park is a non-profit organization, supporting the efforts of Cumberland gap National Historical Park, located within the beautiful tri-state region of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Our mission is to strengthen awareness and assist the National Park Service in its mission to preserve, protect, and enhance the natural and cultural resources of Cumberland Gap National Historical Park by providing community education, wellness, opportunities, expertise, advocacy, and inspiration for the park through fundraising efforts and volunteering.

A Taste of Christmas Past
Saturday, December 10

Join park staff and volunteers for an old fashioned Christmas.  Decorate gingerbread men, make special gifts for loved ones, and remember the slower pace of the Appalachian Christmas of long ago.

Park visitor center at 10:00 am  This program is open to all ages and is free!
